Join us for this week's wellness webchat to learn how your advocacy can help us build a stronger state that will put people and planet first over corporations because that is how we take care of one another. RSVP to join us for this Friday's discussion at bit.ly/PLANwellness.

UPDATES:

Special Session: Last Wednesday, the 31st Special Session of the Nevada State Legislature convened to address the expected $1.2 billion shortfall in the state's budget for 2021. Alongside our partner organizations like ACTIONN, AFSCME, Battle Born Progress, Children's Advocacy Alliance, and the Women's Lobby we have been calling on the legislature to be bold and enact real revenue reform. For too long we have allowed Nevada to be taken advantage of by corporations, like the mining industry, who fail to pay their fair share. It’s time to fix what’s broken about our economy and create long-term solutions for our communities to all have the freedom to thrive.

TAKE ACTION:

It's Time for Our Elected Officials to Be BOLD for Nevada: Being a bold leader means taking bold action to protect the people of Nevada. The global pandemic and rise of the Black Lives Matter movement has created a watershed moment for change. We’re calling on the legislature to be bold and to take action to prevent cuts by raising revenue and making mining pay their fair share, increase access to vote by mail, enact meaningful police reform. Send a message today to tell the legislature now is the moment to take bold action to protect the people of Nevada

Michele Fiore is Bad for BusinessSend a message to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority to remove Michele Fiore from their board. Fiore was recently forced to resign from her position as Mayor Pro-tem because of her penchant for making racist comments.
